as there is no budget as yet for a bristol event
it will probably be a small scale local event, diy style
mixed with streams picked up from global sources
and retransmitted on air

these local scenarios are interesting
i think it was pit who talked about
sensitivity to localised audio languages
what does the sound of bristol say to the sound of berlin
or riga?

they say in bristol there is a constant sub-acoustic  reverberation
because the city sits in a bowl created by valleys
and because of the tunnels below the city
which may explain the melancholic drone in portishead, tricky, massive etc.
