hello xchange

just to explain a little bit more precisely -

> One other thing - someone opted for saving the old homepage and keeping it
> available as archive somewhere.

xchange website at http://xchange.re-lab.net
also is updated and will not be moved anywhere

the link to the 'portal' at http://xchange.x-i.net
will be added from xchange.re-lab.net entrance page
(among other main links - info/mailinglist/links/irc/...)
as soon as it will work properly

xchange.re-lab.net will stay 'low-tech' and will be developed in the same simple
way (where links we are adding by 'hands':) and it also can be used to access
mailinglist archive, subscribe.html, net.radio links and other pages

xchange.x-i.net - will be interestingly programmed page with various databases
(live scheduler, event calendar, etc.) and will function as 'portal' (..or may
be there is some better word for it instead?)
and it can be used for those who prefers more sophisticated interfaces and in
order to register your regular live sessions or to add new links to the web by
yourself

to leave both as entrance pages - it seemed the only natural way to make xchange
'web-update'

best,
rasa
