Channel Radio / Resonance FM
1998-1999 The Channel project was a home for experimental networked projects, debate and resources. Arts programme coordinator – David Sinden, programming – Andi Freeman. Channel was funded by the Arts Council of England and managed by Artec who provided production resources and artists' residency programmes. Channel Radio was using 60 stream T1 based server. Channel was hacked in May 1999. Channel was also facilitating early webcasts of Resonance 107.3 FM, an experimental art radio station run by the London Musicians Collective, which since 2002 is broadcasting 24 hours on 104.4 FM and online. http://www.channel.org.uk – not available (February 3, 2009) |
