He is also a radio artist, co founder of Radio Tuesday, a forum for musicians and artists working with sound. In March 2000 Radio Tuesday were invited to do a short residency in Helsinki, Finland, broadcasting work by local artists recorded in the studio at the Kiasma museum, there were also a number of live broadcasts and a showcase of work by Scottish artists.
Most recently Radio Tuesday has set up Bolt fm, an art community radio station, directed at youths that are at risk of becoming involved with drugs. Broadcasting to Royston, Blackhill, Provanmill, Germiston and beyond, the stations first ten day live broadcast proved to be a huge success, shows were presented by local people with D.J. sets by local youths (following some training at the D.J. workshops) forming a large part of the programming. Bolt fm is now a limited company with a board appointed from volunteers who produced shows and helped with the running of the station.
