Registration from 2pm on Friday 16th February<U>.</U> Welcome and opening keynote speech at 4pm. There will be sound installations open from 2pm on the 16th. The conference will finish after lunch at 2pm on Tuesday 20th February.<BR>

SOUND PRACTICE is the first interdisciplinary gathering in the UK bringing together researchers and practitioners from around the world, in order to discuss and experience the soundscape. With more than 100 presentations programmed - incorporating roundtable discussions, fieldwork, performances, workshops, papers, installations, sound walks and listening exercises - SOUND PRACTICE will showcase a cross-section of current thinking concerning sound, culture and environments. Invited keynote speakers and performers include Jean-François Augoyard, John M. Hull, Pauline Oliveros, R. Murray Schafer and Hildegard Westerkamp. <BR>

</B>Registration includes a copy of the proceedings, refreshments throughout the conference, access to all the programmed conference sessions and concerts, including transport to and from field trips. The Day Rate is available for delegates who will not be attending the whole conference. Conference accommodation is prioritised for delegates who are attending the whole conference.<BR>
