Vernice association created a new domain dedicated to the artists that are
now living the experience of creating new realities and new possibilities of
real, by using the player shockwave.
Whitney Biennal exhibition this year has a new section: Internet art, where
nine projects of nine artists are presented as new concept of communicating
artistic expression.
So it's clear haw art world is changing and starts considering new media as
legitimate instruments of creativity.
Well, sorry, but I disagree -- it is only that the Whitney is desparately trying to cash in or appropriate powerful expressions that have been legitimate since they have existed all along... Why is this an excuse to "jump on the wagon"...? I don´t need the Whiteny to legitimize my process...
