hi everybody at xchange

i am thinking ...
not that much about the mailinglists
but how to re-cover
and to come back to the starting piont
how to give up all the experience we got
in order to clarify - in this over-filled today's situation -
where we are and what is our aim to do what we do...

theory and practice, discussions and experiments, further and deeper and
higher ----
and more and more busy and more and more important
and the result is again the same
like confusion about
what exatly we were/still are/ looking for...
we are complaing and blaming and provoking each other or whatever
(really funy. isn't it)

we are dreaming about the open spaces,
but are we paying attantion enough to the importance of personal
relationships -
understanding and respecting each other ..?
how important and how touchy are all these things especially in
'writing' environment (such as mailinglists),
where we are on so different positions - artists and writers, thoerists
and people-prefering-practice, english and non-english speaking,
pragmatics and free-flowing's, people with different mentalities and
with different historical background, even different time zones and
geographical distances often are the factors of including-or-excluding
people

how there in such sophisticated multi-layer environment can we find
'right' way?
especially, if it is obvious, that there never will be one way, there
should be and are many.

non-linearty is the first feature of the open space, i guess

how to learn to communicate and collaborate in multi-dimensional
environment
of course this is hard work
and we also have good excuse - we haven't had much experience
--- even if there were such attampts, the only measure sooner or later
anyway is the same - 'success' or similar...
well, i am talking about the visible part here though
there are much bigger the 'unvisible' i hope, and then there is an other
question - how to open and aware it
i don't think that here 'discussions' - or even 'open discussions' - is
right tool
(because its based on talking basicly, less on listening though :)

if there are many ways to reach the open spaces, we should re-think of
the tools we use for it

to open our minds and to learn to listen the others
(even if they dont talk - it doesn't means that they don't exist!) and
listen to ourselves too....

----- but definatly we will never reach them with contructive 'critique'
or discussing hard
i guess the 'constructivness' in this case just is closing down variety
of the opportunities... at least i feel so
---- and why we do need to formulate everything what just is appearing,
if we have experienced that the defining
is what kills the creativity and closes the borders
(may be shall we go back from 'net.radio' to 'acoustic.spaces' ... ?)
- ---as soon as you want to improve analyzing also such thing called
'content', you are just realizing that it is much further as it was
before :)
that's why the most energetic and highest point i experienced with
net.radio were practical experiments with loops on the beginning when we
had just a foggy notion what we are doing... but thats not all - of
course we should aware and think how to keep it...
... just the same 'old' keywords: preffering proceess to producing or...

ups,... warning!  :) see - this is an example- in a way - what i am
doing myself right know - trying to define undefinable things ;)

ok, i 'll stop here :) with some note:
i wrote here very personal thoughts, and mostly i was talking about
myself and looking for the way i should go, so please dont misunderstand
it - and this message is not manifesto! :) (i just sorry if my messages
sometimes looks like this, amd sorry about mistakes, if there are i dont
have spell-checker here)
and an other note:
why i am writing all this is and whay not everything is clear and good
formulated is:
because i don't know, how and what to do
i just have very very unclear notion and i really would like to try to
follow it...

a PROPOSAL:
CAN WE MEET TOMORROW NIGHT IN CHAT
and forgetting about all these things, just meet and talk there
and probably somebody has some new and great idea,
and if we dont have any (like me - i really feel over-filled),
let's try to listen to others
or just do nothing
and to wait while 'idea' itself is finding us...  not we are running
after it :)
