What I could listen to at: http://very.re-lab.net/lang.html reminds me
very much of the project some of us were discussing at net.radio days
'98 in Berlin earlier this year:

The project was originally drafted by my group HOME -
HochschulMediennetz Deutschland back in 1995 and its name is:


	 S P R A C H K L A N G 
	sounds of the languages


It is about finding a contemporary poet, a singer/songwriter and a
prosaist for every single language on earth and create a continuing
radio- and netradio-program out of the recordings. 

The explanations about the history of the languages shall be first in
German, and later be translated into all of the languages. 

First in German, because I can sell the programme to German Radio and I
can not afford to go sound-collecting without having some money to live
in return.

The production-costs will be extremely reduced if we can do it via the
xchange-network in MP3/RealAudio and send the sound on the net to
collect it in recording-studios and servers instead of having to go to
all the places on earth physically (which I personally would very much
prefer, if I could only afford it).


Who will help to realize Sprachklang?
