Hallo,
I met quite a number of the xchange related people in Linz (we were working
"next board"), which is by itself quite a strike of luck, given the nature
of the project. Hi to everyone I know; it was really inspiring to meet you.

My name is Sergio Messina (although many people know me as RadioGladio),
I'm a radio maker and musician from italy; I produce my broadcasts
independently and have extensive relations in the local radios here (I was
in the movement from the beginning), as well as in a few public stations
(such as orf/kunstradio, with whom I was associated in Lince). My work
often has a political edge, but is also very 'resonating' stuff, being a
sound person in the first place.

You can sample some text of my work in the page Kunstradio has set up for
my project in Linz: "the revolution has already happened":

http://www.thing.at/orfkunstradio/STATIC/PROJECTS/MESSINA/m_descript_long.html

I will shortly start to produce some audio clips in realaudio as part of
Lilliput, a net based independent group of artists who will offer programs
for free to all interested; these clips (5' to 10' each) will include
original material as well as some samples taken from the net (complete of
all credits - this is the style of the house).

I'm not new to share-audio-ware; in '91 I made RadioGladio, a news report
in music who was distributed, no copyright, to 350 radio stations
worldwide: if we only had the net then...

One of the reasons I'm doing this is because, also after some illuminating
talks with you people in Linz, I realize that "aerial radio" doesn't belong
to the net (except in rare cases) but that the contrary is not only nice to
hear but also makes perfect sense. It is also a cheap, person-to-person way
to exchange and distribute programs; a revolutionary form of syndication in
a world where connectivity is power, and we have little (but you all know
this far better than me).

This means that I will be putting out stuff soon, and just a bit later
there will be a small independent network of antennas (in Italy and
elsewhere) ready to air some of my files (no live stream at the beginning).
Anyone interested? Any suggestion? Would you like to specifically be in it?
Do you think this idea is wrong? You absolutely don't want to be part of
it? Should I quit? Just let me know. I'm not a net expert, but an audio
maker.

Waiting to hear what's wrong with my idea (I'm stubborn but quite open to
changes) just let me tell you how nice is to hear y'all from my place: a
lot.
all the best

Being a sex radical means being defiant as well as deviant. It means being
aware that there is something dissatisfying and dishonest about the way sex
is talked about (or hidden) in daily life. It also means questioning the
way our society assigns privilege based on adherence to its moral codes,
and in fact makes every sexual choice a matter of morality. If you believe
that these inequities can be addressed only through extreme social change,
the you qualify as a sex radical, even if you prefer to get off in the
missionary position and still believe there are only two genders.
