I heard a story about Leonardo once, how they sort of want to own the
sound you send them, without paying for it. It is one of those strange
places that seems to think publishing there is a big favor, so they can
ask for the rights on the piece. An artist who was interviewed for the
magazine told me this. This artist had some sound on an additional CD,
lost the rights, thought it odd, but did not want to make a fuss then.
I believe they want the rights for a year.


How is it in this case?
