hmhm; looking through the xchange-mails of the last half year: it's
half announcements of broad/webcasts; a quarter of the mails deals with
technical stuff; 24 % may be discussion in the broadest sense; 1% is jokes
(thanks a lot, j!). in short: where's the prob?

sculptural atmosphere: it's a metaphor which may describe parts of
radio and webradio; but i don't like it too much. it's as good as thinking
of a sculpture as a radio: you may get some insights and ideas. making
radio i mostly don't think of sculptures: i think of sounds and words, of
range and telephones.

ok, i don't like the metaphor: then what about _connections_? i
think they're useful but not absolutely essential; depends on what you
wanna do and have. it may sound it bit elite: but some of the best
broadcasts i had came out of the idea how to make radio nobody is willing
or interested to hear. not so easy as it may seem.

one way; not the only one; worth another try (who won't do
everything for a blink of a happier new world? outside the window thunders
and rain - and the weatherreport guaranteed some 30° for today ...)

practical: we gonna have this transmissioncar-project this summer;
and one plan is to connect webradio (or netradio or what the hell ever)
with mini-fms in some places we're at (encoding at the studios -
broadcasting from homes) - ok: it's not the
worldwideinterconnectedeverybodysends:yeah!-thing, it's a little project
using the web for the radio and making the air accessible for the small
notebooks and pcs and macs.
