<P>Aims</B></EM></P>
<P><EM>''e-phos' 2001' is organized by the non profit cultural organization ALAS
and aims to initiate a creative exchange of experiences and contacts in the
sphere of culture and art, to develop the public´s understanding and
appreciation of art, to support the efford of filmmakers, producers and
distributors to find their place in the international audio-visual
context.</EM></P><U></U><B>
<P><EM>Subjects</EM></B><EM></EM></P>
<P><EM>''e-phos 2001'' encompasses all arts, of any period or style, in the
following disciplines:</EM><EM> Painting, sculpture, architecture, design,
crafts, fashion, decorative arts, music, photography, cartoon, cinema,
literature, poetry, dance, theatre, performance art, multimedia art, interactive
art, video art, landscape art, art history, museology and
restoration.</EM></P><B>
<P><EM>Format</EM></B><U><EM></EM></U></P>
<P><U><EM>All films and videos will be presented only in BETACAM SP (PAL). All
cd-roms should run in Windows 95 environment, in Mac or in
both.</EM></P><B></U><EM>
<P>Language</B> </EM></P>
<P><EM>All films or videos, cd-roms, and web sites must be either in Greek,or
English, in their original, subtitled or dubbed version.</EM></P><B>
<P><EM>ENTRY Deadline</EM></P></B>
<P><EM>Each film (in VHS Pal), video (in VHS Pal), cd-rom, web
site, submitted to ''e-phos 2001'' must be accompanied by the attached
entry form and reach the Festival office properly completed and signed by

<P><EM>M A R C H 1, 2 0 0 1.</EM></P></U><B></B><B>
<P><EM>Registration Fees </EM></P></B>
<P><EM>All participating films, videos, cd-roms and web sites are not subject to
any fee.</EM></P><B><EM>
<P>Transport</B><U> </P></U></EM>
<P><EM>The cost of sending the video tapes of the films, videos (either VHS or
BETACAM) and cd-roms is borne by the shipper. <U>Registered mail and
Courrier</U> options are highly recommended. The Festival will assume
responsability upon delivery only and will</EM><EM> bear the expense of
the return shipment of the copies.</EM></P><B>
<P><EM>Deadlines</EM></P></B>
<P><EM>A BETACAM SP (PAL) copy of each film or video that has been selected to
be presented in the festival must </EM><EM>reach the Festival office by
<U><STRONG>APRIL 15 2001</STRONG><B></U></EM></P><U></U>
<P><EM>Required Documentation</EM></P></B>
<P><EM>The following material must reach the Festival office after the film,
video, cd-rom or the web site has been officially selected:</EM></P>
<P><EM>complete credits, a biography, a filmography and photo of the director or
designer, a biography of the artists appearing on the screen, a summary of the
film, the video, the cd-rom or the web site, <EM>two posters (if
available)</EM>, the press kit, at least two stills black & white or colour
of the film, video, cd-rom or site in digital or printed form (In case of
digital please send properly addressed only TIFFS or JPEGS by using electornic

</EM></P>
<P><EM>The producer, director, distributor or designer authorizes ''e-phos
2001'' to reproduce photographs, texts and biographies in the
catalogue.</EM></P><B>
<P><EM>Printed scripts in English </EM></P></B>
<P><EM>Printed scripts in english of all films, no matter in which language they
are, should accompany either the VHS reviewing copies</EM><EM> or reach the
Festival office after the film has been officially selected. If the films are
subtitled in english the printed scripts are optional.</EM></P><B>
<P><EM>Utilization Rights</EM></P></B>
<P><EM>''e-phos 2001''reserves the right to authorize television broadcasts of
excerpts not exceeding three minutes and the publication </EM><EM>of stills on
magazines and newspapers for promotional purposes only.</EM></P>
<P><EM>Organizers do not return VHS preview copies, cd-roms and other enclosed
material. All screening copies</EM><EM> (BETACAM) will have been send back
by June 30th, 2001.</EM></P>
<P><EM>As an extension of the Festival, the award-winning works will be shown in
various cultural institutions.</EM></P>
<P><EM>The participation in ''e-phos 2001'' </EM><EM>implies the acceptance
without reservation of the present regulations. </EM><EM>Send all entry forms,
